When I first became Orthodox I remember being so overwhelmed about what the liturgical life would entail.
Over the last couple years, Iโve gotten the hang of things a bit more.
Like the fact that I needed the Orthodox Study Bible and not just my Womenโs Study Bible because I needed the missing books and correct interpretations in the study notes.
Or the fact that the Orthodox cross looks a little different, we use prayer ropes instead of rosaries, and that prayer books teach us the best posture of our prayers.
I also now have incense censors for my prayer time, blessed oil for healing, and holy water always at home.
All these beautiful things that now add to my devotional time with the Lord.
I put together a list on my Amazon Storefront called โOrthodox Starter Packโ to find some of these things, though I do recommend buying from your local Church and monasteries if possible. ๐ฅฐ๐
