The Golf Almanac

The Golf Almanac The Golf Almanac is published by Priority One Marketing Group, LLC. We take great pride in our product, and it shows.

Founded in 2005, The Golf Almanac is a national golf magazine with regional editions, connecting businesses with affluent golfers, country club members, and local communities nationwide. Priority One Marketing Group is a boutique advertising firm that focuses on building our clients' name recognition in the nation's wealthiest markets. We are endorsed by the past two PGA Presidents and we have PGA

pros nationwide that write our articles. Our aim is twofold, one is to provide golf and Country Clubs throughout the United States an excellent magazine for its members and their guests. The other is to provide local businesses in each area access to this high-end clientele type of market within its pages. Our flagship publication "The Golf Almanac" was started over a decade ago, and has blossomed into a premier magazine. The clubs love our free magazine, and our advertisers come back year after year for further exposure to this exclusive market. It's a cost-effective way to reach new high-end clientèle.

Auracal Senior Home Care ran their first ad with us in 2021. Five years later they're still here, now in the pages of our brand new Boca Raton edition.

The work they do is the kind most families don't think about until the day they need it. A parent who wants to stay in her own home but shouldn't be on her own all day. A golfer coming home from a hip replacement who needs a hand for a few weeks. Auracal's registered nurses, certified nursing assistants and home health aides handle those moments for families across Palm Beach and Broward counties.

They're based in Boynton Beach and work wherever the need is, at home, in the hospital or at a facility. If home care is a conversation your family has been circling, their page in the new edition is a good place to start. auracalshc.com

A Swedish study of 300,000 golfers found they outlived non-golfers by about five years. The study can't say golf is the cause, but look at what a round bundles together: four miles of walking, several hundred decisions and four hours with the same three friends. Each has its own research behind it. Our new article (linked in comments) looks at what the science says about golf and the brain. Do you walk or ride?

We say it all the time: print is back. Turns out the research agrees.

In a national survey of 2,400 consumers, 82% said print ads are the advertising they trust most when deciding what to buy. More than TV. Far more than anything they scroll past online. (MarketingSherpa)

That trust is what your business borrows every time a member picks up The Golf Almanac in the pro shop. One page, in their hands, all season long, at 1,800+ clubs nationwide.

Want in front of country club members in your market? Message us. We'll show you what a placement looks like, and we design your ad at no extra cost.

We've all turned an easy chip into a double bogey. In our latest Practice Tee article, our good friend John Carpineta, PGA, explains why that's usually a decision problem, not a skill problem. Four setup keys, the right club and a smarter play around the green. Read When the Chips Are Down below.

Smart chipping starts with smart choices. Read the shot, pick the right club and let it run.
