*****This is a reminder to tell those wonderful people in your life THANK YOU and that you LOVE THEM!

I would like to take a moment and just brag on my mama. My mama is the nicest lady you’ll ever wanna meet. She’s sweet. She’s kind. She’ll take the shirt off her back and give it to anyone who needs it. However, the love she has for her children is more than you could ever imagine.
This past weekend I experienced some things that I haven’t experienced before when it comes to my my health, YOPD. It was nerve racking, frustrating and even a little scary at times.
But my mama was right there beside me the whole time helping me get through what I had to get through.
To know I have someone in my life that has my back like that is so incredible.
I love ya mama.

💡 Things to know about YOPD
Young-onset Parkinson’s disease (YOPD) occurs in people under 50 and shares many symptoms with typical PD.

YOPD can also be referred to as early-onset Parkinson's disease (EOPD).

People with YOPD often experience slower symptom progression, fewer cognitive issues and more medication-related side effects like dyskinesias and dystonias.

Tailored care often includes medication, genetic counseling, therapy and lifestyle planning to address career, family and long-term health needs.

Hey facebook fam!! How is everybody doing this morning? I know it’s been a little while since I’ve hoped on and updated you guys on my progress. It’s been a bit hectic these past few weeks. Don’t worry tho. The Slades are powering through one hurdle at a time!
I am however going to be hoping on here sometime this afternoon around 3 so keep a look out. I’m not going to have time to update you on everything cause it’s a lot but what I don’t cover today I will cover tomorrow. ❤️you all!

What is a hero?
The dictionary defines a hero as an ordinary individual who fines the strength to preserve and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.
I believe a hero is someone who puts others above themselves. Who despite their own struggles they always show up when you need them
My hero is my mother Cindy Bullard. She has been there for me through all the good times and the bad. She is my inspiration and my motivation. She loves God with all her heart and she puts Him first in every aspect of her life. I can only pray that I can be half the women she is. My mom is my best friend and I couldn’t not do this life without her.
Mama I love you bigger than life. Thank you for never giving up on me.
