The sun was hot, but it was a "Candy", "Cool it Now" New Edition Way to spend our positive ERS+ Saturday.
Happy in Boston and nationwide. Shoutout to Maurice Mo Wilks for his photos of Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph, and Johnny. Big shout to the City of Boston for proclaiming the day and renaming the way.
Salute and congratulations to the young men for living their lives thru the ups and downs and always remembering to stay grounded and connected to their Boston roots.

Mo Wilks sat down with a remarkable joyfilled individual, Charles Haynes. He is a renoun percussionist, bandleader, producer and visionary. Charles plans to bring his seven piece ensemble, The Tabernacle to CROMA Space in Boston September 11th. CROMA Space Boston is literally on the other side of the Common P***c Garden from our 88.9FM studios. Charles shared his remarkable journey as a stroke survivor and the musical plans scheduled for his event Thursday, September 11 at 7p. The event is part dance instruction with part electrifying performance. Welcome to Studio 8-8-9 Charles Haynes of Charles Haynes and the Tabernacle. They will be bringing a night of Afrobeat Dance and Community Healing to Boston, Welcome.
