Andy was a guest on the podcast last summer, and will be again! Of course when we get back and running..... Construction at the house which includes a new room for the studio :). Andy's a good guy and need you support, read up and help out if you can!
This is a sad story, Coggers, but you can help make it better. We just found our Train Master, Andy Vilaine, sitting on the side of the Ammonoosuc River Bridge, head in hand, mumbling to himself forlornly. "Nobody cares", he kept saying, over and over again. "Nobody cares."
You see, his efforts to support Seek The Peak– the Mount Washington Observatory's annual fundraising hike-a-thon, have gone mostly unnoticed and unappreciated. Those efforts include bushwhacking the Raymond Cataract, a grueling, and frankly, pretty stupid way to get to the summit of Mount Washington– especially for a guy who can take the train for free! But he's doing it to support the exciting and vital climate and weather research carried out 24/7/365 by MWOBS scientists and staff.
