Creativity is something I carry with me everywhere I go. So when there’s an opportunity to use the skills I’ve built through my small business to make our campus a little brighter, I’m all in.

If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect time” to start your business, let this be your reminder: you don’t have to choose between your career and your dream. You can build something meaningful in the hours you have.

If I can work full time, be a mom, wife, and grow a small business one late night at a time… you can chase your dream too.

The business gets what it needs, and my girls get a little surprise waiting at home. It’s become our little tradition, and honestly, I think I look forward to their reactions just as much as they look forward to opening them.

Today was one of those days where I didn’t make a single cake topper, pack an order, or cross anything off my small business to-do list.

For a minute, I felt guilty.

Then I looked at my garage.

It’s clean.

And honestly? That’s a win too.

Sometimes the work that doesn’t make it onto Instagram is still the work that makes everything else easier. Creating space, clearing the clutter, catching up on life… it all counts.

Tomorrow, the cardstock will still be there waiting for me.

Today, I needed a clean garage. 🤍
