Tropical Storm Wilfred forms in the Atlantic, keeping eyes on Tropical Depression Twenty-Two in the Gulf

Tropical Storm Wilfred and Subtropical Storm Alpha formed in the Eastern Atlantic Friday morning.

NOTE: These storms are not Tropical Depression Twenty-Two, which continues to churn in the Gulf of Mexico. This system is now expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Beta by the end of the day Friday. Details here:

Eyes are on Tropical Depression Twenty-Two Friday morning as it continues to churn over the Gulf of Mexico. As of the 10 a.m. advisory update from the National Hurricane Center, the system is still expected to strengthen into a tropical storm by the end of the day Friday.

Both the pilot and instructor were able to walk away safely from the incident, according to TDCJ.

TDCJ staff were busy this evening near the Holliday Unit after a small plane crash landed in the field nearby. The pilot reported losing power on approach to the Huntsville airport across the freeway. Both the pilot and an instructor were able to walk away from the incident.

A U.S. judge on Thursday blocked controversial Postal Service changes that have slowed mail nationwide, calling them “a politically motivated attack on the efficiency of the Postal Service” before the November election.

Trump store in Tenn. to become early voting location

“It has us very concerned,” Bradley Co. Democratic Party Chairman Stan Hurder said. “This is not saying this a neutral site, come here. This is a Trump site, come here.”

Did anyone else see a green van or suv flipped over on Villa Maria yesterday? It was close to William J Bryan. I live close by and I never heard any sirens, but there were about 3-4 cop cars blocking the scene. Haven’t heard anything else about it ... I know I’m not crazy! Lol
It would seem that more importance should be placed on the Brazos Valley Health Department no longer tracking COVID hospitalizations. Wasn’t the goal of lockdowns, face masks, social distancing, etc... to keep the hospitals from being overwhelmed? Why is this data no longer being tracked? Has there been any thought to breaking down the positive Covid cases? Such as asymptotic? Only fatigue? Flulike symptoms (fever, aches, etc), and actual hospitalizations? That would seem to be more informative...
