It is with a heavy heart we acknowledge the passing of Will Murray, author of numerous Edgar Rice Burroughs adventure titles Oasis has published in audio. I had the pleasure of meeting Will on several occasions. A literary historian, he loved Burroughs, and was an authority on several of the most famous pulp characters including The Shadow, Doc Savage and more.

Rest in peace, Will.

Do you know of a librarian who is doing an incredible job? What about a fabulous local library?

For several months, we’ve been working on a new project called The Vitamin Book Club, an audiobook community. Rebecca is still building our site, so you might find gaps here or there. (Feel free to let us know if you find one!) However, this video shows one aspect of the project—our attempt to honor one local librarian and one local library every single month.

While we get this going, we could use some help from thoughtful folks who use their libraries and love them. If you have nominations, we’d be so grateful to hear them.
