Yesterday at the Mesa Christi retreat, Brother Mike and Sister Lulu from the Diocese of Raleigh shared their beautiful 31-year love story. Their journey began with a leap of faith across the ocean and a shared promise to put Christ at the very center of their marriage.💍

Just as the Bishop is calling us to do, Mike and Lulu remind us that our ultimate marital mission is to bring each other to heaven. 🏔️✨

Their sweet secret to a long-lasting marriage? Couple prayer! 🍯 They pray vocally together every single night, finding true intimacy with each other and with Christ.

Now, the challenge is buzzing your way! 🐝 Mike and Lulu are officially passing the baton over to Brother Dave and Sister Len Guirao! Let’s keep the faith, the love, and the prayers growing. 👇

🐝Buzzing with grace on this Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! ❤️‍🔥

Last night, Immaculate Conception Parish entered into deep prayer, beginning with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. 🙌

Following adoration, the community celebrated its solemn consecration and enthronement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, moving in perfect union with the national consecration by the US Bishops. 🕊️

Promises 9-11 of Jesus to St Mary Margaret on Devotion to the Sacred Heart :

9 - I will bless every place in which an image of my Heart is exposed and honored.

10 - I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.

11 - Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in my Heart.
