Some songs are iconic, and now, the electronic brain behind Soft Cell's Tainted Love, has unplugged for the last time, gone at 66. Along with the Stones' "Satisfaction" and Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" that is a turn it up loud song for me.

Dave Ball, Soft Cell's synthesizer player who founded the New Wave band in 1981 alongside Marc Almond, died in his sleep at 66.
