🚨 Brookhaven Man Wanted After Allegedly Exposing Himself Inside Delaware County Dollar Tree

Police in Delaware County are searching for a Brookhaven man accused of exposing himself to customers inside a Dollar Tree store.

Springfield Township Police have issued an arrest warrant for Jhet Larose, 30, of Brookhaven, in connection with an incident reported on August 5.

According to police, Larose allegedly exposed himself to customers inside the Dollar Tree on the 400 block of Baltimore Pike.

Larose has been charged with indecent exposure, and authorities are urging him to turn himself in.

Police have not released additional details about what allegedly occurred inside the store or Larose’s current whereabouts.

Anyone with information that could help police locate Larose is asked to contact Detective Randall Kennedy at 610-544-5507.

⚠️ Larose is wanted on an active arrest warrant but has not been convicted. The allegations against him remain to be proven in court.

PERSEID METEOR SHOWER: Considered by many to be the best meteor shower of the year, the Perseids are set to peak Wednesday and Thursday nights, affording skywatchers an opportunity to see upwards of 50-100 meteors per hour. At least on paper.

While the lack of bright moonlight is fantastic, I remain concerned that widespread wildfire smoke could eat into how many meteors some will be able to see. Even so, this is likely to still be a worthwhile display. The map below plots the latest high resolution cloud cover forecast for 12am ET Wednesday night-Thursday morning. Go for the green!

The Darby Police Department announce the arrest of 32-year-old Darby Borough resident, Idrece Brooker. He was arrested for his involvement in a Sexual Assault with a firearm that occurred early this morning in Darby Borough.

Early this morning, members of the Darby Borough Police Department, assisted by Delaware County Region 1 Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a search warrant at Brooker’s residence. Brooker was taken into custody without incident.

Brooker has been charged with:

IDSI Threat of Force Compulsion
Sexual Assault
Aggravated Assault
Simple Assault
Indecent Assault Threat Forcible Compulsion
False Imprisonment
Possession of a Weapon

Police Identify Suspect After Employee Shot During Walmart Gunfire

Police have identified the man they say opened fire inside a Delaware County Walmart, injuring an employee and sending shoppers scrambling for cover.

According to the Darby Township Police Department, the shooting happened just before 7:30 p.m. Friday inside the Walmart on MacDade Boulevard in Glenolden.

Investigators say two customers became involved in an argument when one of them allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired between five and ten shots inside the store.

A female Walmart employee was struck once in the leg. Police said her injuries were not life-threatening.

Authorities have now obtained an arrest warrant for Armani Tyrell Waite, who is wanted on charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

Witnesses described customers and employees diving to the floor as gunfire erupted before the suspect fled the store.

Police are asking anyone with information on Waite’s whereabouts to contact the Darby Township Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
