Two weeks ago I was walking the streets of Fort Worth, soaking up the heat, humidity, and every bit of that Texas energy. I came home feeling inspired, motivated, and ready to hit the ground running.

Then my husband got sick after the trip… and decided to share. 😅

So instead of tackling everything on my to-do list, I’ve spent the last several days slowing down and focusing on healing.

It’s frustrating when you’re ready to go and life has other plans. But sometimes the reminder to rest is exactly what we need, even when we don’t want it.

For now, I’ll be dreaming about those warm Dallas evenings, the Stockyards, and that Texas heat I loved so much while I wait to feel like myself again.

Anyone else come home from a trip feeling inspired, only to get sidelined by real life?

“Well, we never failed to cut a trail whenever times were bad
Oh, she’s every friend I’ve ever had.” 🎶

Just out here being my millennial self. 🤍

Taking pictures of turquoise.
Romanticizing the little things.
And letting Turnpike lyrics do what they do.

The older I get, the more I appreciate the people who’ve been there through every version of me.

I’ve gone back and forth on whether to say anything, but I can’t stay quiet.

The reports coming out of South Point in Las Vegas involving horses being intentionally injured are heartbreaking. My heart hurts for the horses, their owners, and everyone affected.

In this industry, our horses are not equipment. They are our partners. They trust us completely, and they depend on us to protect them. There is absolutely no place in the horse world for violence, retaliation, or taking frustration out on an animal.

We all compete. We all experience disappointment, setbacks, and hard days. But being a horseman or horsewoman means putting the welfare of the horse first, every single time.

This incident should be condemned by every corner of our industry. Accountability matters. The legal system will do its job, but horse organizations, associations, and event producers also have a responsibility to protect the horses and the people who dedicate their lives to them.

The horse community is better than this. We have to be.

Prayers for the horses’ recovery and for the owners who are living every competitor’s nightmare right now. ❤️

I think about that conversation a lot.
The night I told him I wanted more than just punching a time clock. More than going through the motions every day.

Before I could even fully see it for myself, he already did.

When I talked about wanting to build something with jewelry, social media, photography… he never questioned me. He supported me before there was anything to show for it. Before the rebrand, before the growth, before any of this became real.

And now here we are. Completely restructuring, rebuilding, chasing bigger goals — and he’s still right beside me cheering me on like he always has been.

I truly wouldn’t be where I am without him.
Sometimes the right person sees the life you’re meant for before you’re brave enough to see it yourself. ❤️

Last week at the Cowgirl 30 Under 30 Leadership Summit felt like the reset and refresh I didn’t realize I needed.

For a while, my brand felt like trying to force a square peg into a round hole.

Not because it was wrong.
Not because it didn’t work.

But because it fit… just not as the fit anymore.

I’ve grown.
The vision has grown.
And what I’m building now needs room to evolve into something bigger than where it started.

The conversations, leadership, and time away gave me a level of clarity I honestly hadn’t felt in a long time.

TBarr Social is still such a big part of what I’m building, but this next chapter feels more aligned with who I am, what I value, and the kind of impact I want to make long term.

More intentional.
More expansive.
More me.

And for the first time in a while, it feels clear. 🤍

Big things are coming.

Confident content. Clean strategy. No fluff.

Back in Instagram land… and honestly, maybe the reset was needed. 🤎

The last couple weeks have been a whirlwind between losing years of memories, rebuilding accounts from scratch, traveling, learning, reconnecting with old friends, meeting incredible new people, and getting really clear on where I’m headed next.

But one thing about me? I’ll rebuild every single time.

This next chapter feels more aligned, more intentional, and a whole lot more me. More western lifestyle, more business, more branding, more creativity, more real life, and less worrying about fitting into whatever social media “should” look like.

If you’re still here supporting me while I rebuild this little corner of the internet from the ground up, thank you. Seriously. Y’all have no idea how much it means.

We’re just getting started. ✨

Still soaking in everything from the Cowgirl 30 Under 30 Leadership Summit 🤍

The conversations, the laughs, the late nights catching up, and the new friendships that already feel rooted deep — this week was exactly what I needed. A reminder of where I come from, what I stand for, and what being called a cowgirl truly means to me.

It’s not just about the hats and boots. It’s about showing up for each other, building community, working hard, staying grounded, and carrying the kind of strength that makes room for others too.

So thankful for every new connection made and every old friendship renewed this past week. I’m leaving inspired, grateful, and excited to continue building alongside such incredible women.

More photos coming soon 🤍

Last minute, we decided to catch the first half of The American Rodeo before hopping on a plane ✈️🤠

No matter where we go, we’re always gonna make sure we represent the brands and people we believe in. Had to wear my Cowboy Emporium tee loud and proud for this one ❤️

Sometimes the best plans are the unplanned ones.

This was an incredible run to witness!
