🚨Exciting news! The Illinois Rock & Roll Museum on Route 66 have voted to induct our very own Bob Stroud to the museum's Hall of Fame! He will be inducted at the ceremony held at the Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet on September 14.

We are so proud of this much-deserved honor for Bob, and we know you are too, Stroud Crowd!

This photo was taken in 1978, when he was doing middays in St. Petersburg, Florida, the year before he came to Chicago. For over 40 years, Bob Stroud has been a part of our lives, one of the very best DJ’s to ever sit behind a microphone.

Listen to his weekly Rock ‘N Roll Roots program tomorrow and every Sunday from 9a-12noon and again from 9p-12a for three hours of great tunes from the 60’s and 70’s. And of course, don’t miss his Ten At 10 every weekday on The Drive.
