Dave Leffel celebrates 20 years at BAM!

From day one, Dave has been an integral part of BAM, and this week he not only celebrates 20 years at BAM but marks 35 years of working together with BAM's founder Brian Reed.

We celebrated this milestone with a fun-filled day of lunch, cake, balloons, and a trip down memory lane with historical photos highlighting Dave’s journey through the years.

BAM brings the FIFA 2026 World Cup to life with Sound!

⚽️ 32 videos. 16 cities. 1 incredible sound experience. ⚽️🔥

BAM Studios is proud to have contributed to bringing the FIFA 2026 World Cup to life by crafting vibrant and immersive audio experiences. Our team provided dynamic sound design, precise mixing, and meticulous mastering for each of the 32 unique videos—featuring city and character montages for every host city.

Throughout the second half of 2024, our talented team poured creativity, passion, and attention to detail into capturing the distinct atmosphere and excitement of each city, from Miami to Mexico City, Vancouver to Guadalajara. This global project required collaborative spirit and exceptional dedication, showcasing the breadth of our capabilities and our team's deep commitment to excellence. (see full list below)

We extend our sincere gratitude to Bryan () and Annie () at Digital Paradigm for including us in this monumental international effort. And, of course, a special acknowledgment goes out to our outstanding BAM team—whose hard work, creativity, and unwavering dedication were instrumental to the project's success.

“Channels Changers” Premieres Tonight on WTTW!

BAM Studios is proud to have Sidney Jones Jr. sound design and mix Channels Changers, the groundbreaking documentary by Gypsy Chicago Productions—and now it’s making its TV premiere on WTTW! 📺

This powerful film tells the untold stories of the first Black professionals hired at Chicago’s major ad agencies during the civil rights movement. It highlights how they broke barriers in the ‘60s-‘80s, transforming the industry and shaping the diverse creative landscape we see today.

We worked closely with legendary editor, writer, and producer Alaric Martin and team to bring this incredible story to life—don’t miss it! 🚨

Look who stopped by BAM! We were thrilled to welcome the incredible Angela Sarafyan this week for an ADR session on her upcoming film project! 😱 ✨

Angela was recorded on Stage A by our very own Matt Sauro, with Alex Vaca assisting.

Angela is well known for her role as Clementine from HBO’s Westworld. She’s also appeared in Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, A Beautiful Life, The Promise, Reminiscence, and TV shows like American Horror Story, The Good Guys, and Blue Bloods.

We can't wait to see her outstanding portrayal of her character in the final film! 🎬 🍿

We were thrilled to welcome the delightful Kate Flannery to BAM this week for a VO recording session for an upcoming TV show project! 🎤 Known for her hilarious role as Meredith Palmer on The Office and a string of other notable works including Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Another Period, Cooties, and Steven Universe, Kate brought her signature charm and wit to the session. 🎬

Our sound team, led by Recording Engineer Sidney Jones, had the pleasure of recording Kate on Stage A, with producers and directors joining remotely for seamless collaboration. 🎛️ 🎧
