We recently had the pleasure of recording Joan Cusack as Jessie for the new Papa Johns x Toy Story 5 campaign, celebrating 30 years of Toy Story ahead of the theatrical release of Toy Story 5 on June 19.

Safe to say recording Jessie, one of Pixar’s most beloved characters, in the studio for Papa Johns wasn’t on our 2026 bingo card. 🤠🎙️

The beloved Toya Turner () has been recording at BAM since mid-2024 — and officially made her way onto the BAM Wall of Fame with Senior Engineer Matt Sauro. 📸

You might recognize Toya from Chicago PD, Warrior Nun, and New Amsterdam, but we know her as an absolute pleasure to work with every time she’s in the studio.

Here’s to many more ADR sessions ! 🎙️✨

BAM Studios is honored to have provided sound design and mixing for both the theatrical version and the newly released YouTube version of Rising Hope, the award-winning documentary from producer/director Theo Avgerinos.

With Senior Engineer Matt Sauro leading audio post and an original score by Alex Wurman, Rising Hope explores education, community, faith, and resilience in the Mississippi Delta through the voices of those confronting systemic inequality and working toward change.

Congratulations to Theo Avgerinos and the entire team behind this project. We’re grateful to have helped bring the film across different formats and to new audiences.

Great to see Chicago’s production community getting this kind of national spotlight.

Illinois’ expanded production incentives are a big win, not just for film and TV production, but for the entire creative ecosystem around it, including post-production, sound, music, talent, crews, vendors, and local studios.

Chicago has the talent, infrastructure, and work ethic to support world-class production. At BAM, we’re proud to be part of that community and excited to see this momentum continue.

Season 14 of Chicago Fire, Season 13 of Chicago P.D., and Season 11 of Chicago Med — officially in the books. 🎬 🚒 🚓 🚑

We closed out the season with a final ADR session for Chicago Fire featuring Miranda Rae Mayo (), marking the first time she recorded the final cues of the season!

A huge shoutout to our incredible ADR recording and supervision crew, and the team behind the scenes keeping everything running smoothly day in and day out.

We’re always grateful to our partners at Wolf Films and NBCUniversal, the teams coordinating talent across the country, and the post audio crews who help bring every episode to life.

Look who stopped by BAM — Dermot Mulroney for an ADR session on NBC’s Chicago Fire. 🔥 🚒

Dermot has built an impressive career across film and television, with standout roles in My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Wedding Date, August: Osage County, Shameless, New Girl, Friends, Young Guns and Chicago Fire as Chief Dom Pascal. 🎬 📺

Beyond acting, Dermot is also an accomplished musician and cellist who has performed with scoring orchestras on major motion pictures alongside Academy Award-winning composers, contributing to some of Hollywood’s biggest films. 🎼 🎬

It was a pleasure to have a veteran of the screen David Zayas on our ADR stage for NBC’s Law & Order.

Many of you recognize him for his iconic role as Angel Batista on the hit series Dexter, as well as his standout performances in Oz, The Bear, Bloodline, and Gotham. 🎬

From his early days in the New York theater scene to a long run across film and television, David’s body of work speaks for itself. 🌟
