* At 720 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Minco, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Tuttle, Minco, Verden, Amber, and Pocasset.

There will also be a 54-voice choir from the Chickasha Community Theater singing ‘You’re a Grand Ole Flag’ !

George here! I look forward to seeing you at the Wings and Wheels Air Show and Car Show this Saturday! Gates open at 8:00 a.m. with lots of vendors and food trucks. There are free airplane rides for kids from 9:00 to 11:30 and I’ll be broadcasting from the airport from 10 to noon. The air show starts at noon. The car show starts at 8:00 with awards going out after the airshow. Admission and parking are free! Rain or shine, activities will take place!

Chickasha Mayor Zach Grayson issues a proclamation for the Chickasha High School Robotics team AKA The Cockadoodle Dominators for its great season, including a top 20 placing at the FIRST World Robotics competition in Houston where 600 teams were in the field.
