CASTING CALL - SHEDIO COMMERCIAL ANTHOLOGY
SHEDIO is currently casting for a connected series of cinematic short films blending:
Americana
Retro futurism
Romance
Western storytelling
1950s nostalgia
Emotional realism
Quiet human moments
These are NOT traditional commercials.
This anthology is being created as a cinematic storytelling project focused on atmosphere, emotion, and visually-driven narratives.
We are currently seeking:
• Men & women of all ages
• Character faces
• Older actors
• Atmosphere/background performers
• Diner patrons
• Train passengers
• Radio station staff
• Families
• Mechanics
• Store workers
• Interesting real people with natural presence
Several featured speaking and supporting roles are still available.
Most roles are volunteer / portfolio-based, however IMDB credit will be provided.
Filming will take place throughout Northeast Ohio over the coming months.
No acting experience required for some roles. Natural presence and authenticity matter more than polished performances.
LGBTQ+, trans, disabled, and underrepresented performers are strongly encouraged to apply.
We want these films to feel human, honest, and reflective of real people.
