The Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center was contacted but declined to accept the child into custody so the boy was released to his parents, according to Westlake Police.

A 16-year-old boy was taken into police custody after he allegedly pointed a gun at a group of kids in Crocker Park.

This mainly affected transgender and nonbinary students, and they were not notified that this was happening.
