🔥 BURN BAN LIFTED IN HENDRY COUNTY 🔥

The burn ban on unregulated outdoor fires has been lifted. Residents are still urged to use caution when burning outdoors.

✅ Keep burn piles 8 feet in diameter or smaller (larger burns require authorization from the Florida Forest Service)
✅ Fires may be ignited after 9:00 AM
✅ Fires must be completely extinguished at least one hour before sunset

The wife an I are having a blast here in upstate NY (Adirondack Mountain area). Here’s a funny story they called any temp above 85 degrees oppressive heat. Country music lost one of its most beloved voices.

Bill Cody wasn’t the guy singing the songs, but for more than 50 years, he was the voice that brought country music into our homes, cars, and hearts. As the longtime host of Coffee, Country & Cody on WSM and a legendary announcer for the Grand Ole Opry, he became part of millions of people’s daily lives.

From interviewing legends to championing new artists, Bill had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Garth Brooks once said nobody loved country music more than Bill Cody.

After battling heart and kidney failure while awaiting transplants, Bill passed away on June 9 at age 67.

The microphone may be silent, but the impact of his voice will echo through country music forever.

Born in Immokalee and raised right here in Southwest Florida, Chaplain Andy was led to Clewiston by faith, family, and a true calling to serve. While you might spot him out on the water mastering his bass fishing skills 🎣 or producing local media and music 🎶, his ultimate mission is to bring hope, guidance, and a listening ear to our officers and the community we protect.

In 2019, Andy answered a powerful calling to ministry. For the last six years, he has dedicated his life to teaching, leading Bible studies, and uplifting the youth as a teacher at the International Christian Academy of LaBelle. 📖🏫 Now, he steps into a vital role with the Clewiston Police Department to support our team on and off the clock.

Guided by Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" Chaplain Andy stands ready to serve those who serve others. 🛡️❤️

"If you want to make a difference, you have to treat others the way that you want to be treated, which is with love, kindness, and respect," says Chaplain Andy. 🤝
