JOIN VALLEY RUGBY!

Not only does playing Rugby provide an array of skills that translate to many sports (Football, Wrestling, Track, etc) but there are many opportunity’s to play at the collegiate and professional level!

I wanted to highlight a FEW of MANY alumni who are continuing their rugby journeys in college!

Information will come out soon of a team meeting end of January, until then everyone have a Happy Holidays and New Year! 🧡🐅

Applications are still OPEN for the 2025 West Des Moines Wombats High Performance Scholarship Awards, but time is running out!

The Wombats will award one $500 scholarship and two $200 scholarships to rugby athletes who truly live the Way of the Wombat — athletes who are committed to improving their game, passionate about continuing their rugby journey, and who make a positive impact on and off the pitch.

✅ Who can apply?
High school, college, men & women rugby players are all eligible.

All applications will be reviewed and ranked by the Wombats Leadership Group based on alignment with our Wombat Values.
