Lil’ Leo’s Wednesday Words of Wisdom 👉🏻 It’s important to remember sightseers that when chasing waterfalls 💦 one must follow up each expedition with a cozy nap. Otherwise, you run the risk of being an angry lil’ chi on your next adventure and nobody wants that. 🐾

It never ceases to amaze me how many different places there are in this state that I never knew existed before until now. The Dells of the Eau Claire County Park is one such place. 🤯 I had seen a Reel on it a few weeks back and thought, this place is in Wisconsin? Of course, being a cataractophile 💦 I just had to go see for myself. And boy, am I glad I did! MeanderingMarty, Lil’ Leo, and I spent an entire afternoon hiking 🥾 around this magical park. Besides seeing some of the most spectacular scenery we’ve ever seen in the Wausau area, we experienced nature like we’ve never before INCLUDING encountering something so disturbing, we’re still talking about it. In an unexpected twist, this week’s episode takes place through the lens of MeanderingMarty. Yep, that’s right! MeanderingMarty is BACK to hosting his own channel on YouTube!!! 🎉 And I couldn’t be more excited. In this newest AND greatest episode, MeanderingMarty tours Hickory’s old historic gas station. ⛽️ With his extensive knowledge of things that run PLUS the stories he shares, this episode is sure to bring a fresh hot take to the world of sightseeing. I will let you all know in a special post later today when this episode airs on YouTube.

If you’re wondering whether there’s a new SightseeingSally episode coming out soon, here’s the scoop: we filmed another outdoor adventure earlier in the week resulting in 45+ minutes of footage to edit. Between helping Marty with his meandering, wrapping up the Mokwheel commitment, and posting new content for our patrons, I didn’t make much progress with editing that episode. Thus, you will have to wait until NEXT week to see what else we got up our sleeves.

AND… that’s not all. If the stars align right, there will be a pop up LIVESTREAM on our main channel - SightseeingSally - tonight!

Discover the wild and untouched beauty of Wisconsin’s state recreation area along the Menominee River - Pemene Falls💦 Truly an off the beaten path hidden gem, we spent several hours exploring the Wisconsin side. This reel is just a glimpse of what we saw.
NOTE: If you want / need an easier hike, visit the Michigan side. According to others the path there is shorter and more developed.

In wrapping up our collab with Mokwheel Electric Bikes I thought it would be fun for all of us to pose with our Mokwheels. Apparently achieving the “perfect” shot with three sentient beings is actually more akin to herding cats than anything else. 🤦🏼‍♀️😆

In it we explore one of the most out in the middle of nowhere places we’ve been in a long time: Menominee River State Recreation Area. Located along the state’s boundary with Michigan, this section of our state is a remote hidden gem that few ever explore. The raw beauty of this place is purely breathtaking. 🥾 Now this is what I call getting off the beaten path. Literally - the trail here was rather poorly marked. We found ourselves pushing our way through tall vegetation, scrambling over rocks, and climbing up and down a gorge to get where we were going for this grand adventure. Stay tuned! 📺
