Well just like that 3rd rifle has ended for me. Theres been lots of emotions this week lots of ups and downs. I saw the buck of a life time and couldn't get the shot off in time, i pass on 4 or 5 smaller bucks and just when things impossible the good lord sent me a beautiful 4x4 buck off in the distance and after a quick conversation with my buddy Cameron the race was on and it was a race against time. Shooting light was quickly coming to and end and with 10 mins left of light we made the rush to get into a good range to shoot. A doe spotted us and I thought everything was over...the buck was too busy chasing other does around and gave me a great opportunity for a frontal shot so I got down on my rifle and pulled the trigger and nothing happened haha I forgot to rack a round into the chamber....then he gave me another shot broadside shot at 250 yards and as I went to shoot a doe crossed in front of him which made me wait, once the doe passed her quarter turned away from me and I let it fly...he tumbled down the hill and the hunt was over. I could have done this without the help of Cameron who helped me seal the deal last night, and I also owe a thank you to corey for helping me last night and finding me a place to take my deer.... Tricer thanks to your amazing bipod I was able to deploy the legs and get on target and harvest a beautiful buck...I definitely recommend their bi pod super easy to use. I also need to say thank you to rich over at high tech customs for the amazing rifle build, she shot like a dream. I met quite a few good people out on this hunt who all offered to help my crippled self out if I had shot a deer. Just goes to show there are still good people in the world.

PS- I wish I would have had my favorite Muley Freak hat for this hunt. Would have made it more perfect.

Man this selective harvesting deal is alot harder than it thought hahaha passed on a 3x3 muley this morning at 75 yards hahaha gotta hold out a few more days waiting on a biggin

Man today's been a real good day, blood got pumping real good when my crippled self made a 120/130 yard stalk on a nice 4x4 buck but after looking at him I decided to let him live, hes a little too young to shoot. Gotta let em go so they can grow....still got my eyes out for that big bucks from yesterday.

PS- if you want a new bi pod for shoot I highly recommend the Tricer pi pod that thing is a life savor i was set with legs deployed and on target in about 5 seconds

So its offical i now have a target buck on my hit list hahaha i got sp close this morning but yet was still so far, finally had a shoot buck in distance and the wind picked up real big and he winded me and took off into the hills....hopefully ill see him again.

Well today is the day ladies and gents. Its the eve of 3rd rifle here in Colorado and I cant wait to get out in the morning....yes im still in my boot and its going to make hunting very difficult but heck thats the only way I do things haha the hard way. For those of yall going out for opener in the morning remember hunt smart be safe and shoot straight, i look forward to seeing all the harvest pictures....and hopefully ill have a Pic to post myself

Stitches are still in and no more soft cast... looks like im going into a hard cast for 2 weeks
