The Comanche Chief newspaper was sent to the press on Monday, December 23, 2024. But the press room was backed up and were unable to print the newspaper before the Christmas mailing date. So, the newspaper will be picked up on Thursday, December 26, 2024 and hopefully mailed out on December 27. The special edition features Letters to Santa from thousands of Comanche County, Texas youth.
Many businesses like to take a group photo of their employees for the advertisement or some bigger companies list all of their employees and set it with a festive Christmas background.

Just this week, Santa Claus told The Comanche Chief that he wants the newspaper to collect your letters from the Comanche County Area! Santa requested that children begin writing their letters to Santa now so that they can be published in The Comanche Chief and then forwarded to him at the North Pole for processing.
All letters to Santa will be published in the Christmas edition. Letters must be at The Chief no later than noon on Friday, December 13. All letters to Santa should be sent to Santa Claus, c/o The Comanche Chief, PO Box 927, Comanche, Texas 76442, email to [email protected], post to our social media pages or hand deliver your special letter to our new “Santa Claus Post Office Box” inside The Chief at 203 West Grand Ave in Comanche, TX.
And elementary schools at Comanche, Gustine and Sidney should be collecting for The Chief newspaper as well.
Also, we will accept family member's Letters to Santa that live outside Comanche County, Texas but have a connection. Just leave the child's first name and city and state.
