📖 Verse of the Day – December 12, 2025

Psalm 62:1 (NIV):
“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.”

⸻

🕊️ Devotion

As the year moves closer to its end, life can feel especially busy—full of deadlines, expectations, and lingering worries. This verse gently reminds us where true rest is found: in God alone.

Rest doesn’t always mean stopping physically. Sometimes it means quieting our hearts and trusting God with what we cannot control. When we look to Him for our security and salvation, our souls begin to settle, even when life around us feels noisy or uncertain.

Today, take a moment to pause. Release the pressure you’ve been carrying and let your soul rest in God’s presence. He is steady, faithful, and more than enough for whatever this day holds.

⸻

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for being my source of rest and salvation. Help me quiet my heart and trust You fully today. Let Your peace settle my soul and guide my steps. Amen.
