The Paradise Lady Panthers' one-two combo of sophomore Allie McCormick and freshman Taryn Stoltz led the team to a win after claiming gold and silver individual medals, respectively, in the girls 2-mile race at Alvord's Wyatt Dickerson Invitational Sept. 19.

Slidell freshman Cash Luig ran away with the gold in the boys 5K, helping the Hounds secure the team title.

Despite being used to competing in 2-mile races, Boyd senior Anna Holt turned in a top 10 finish in the Boswell Invitational's girls 5K race Sept. 13.

She placed seventh in 20:08.78 — about 12 seconds behind Fort Worth Nolan Catholic’s Georgia Giesinger, who won the race in 18:56.23.
