Spending the evening at Lucas Ferry Flower Farm was exactly the gentle reset I needed before the chaos of summer begins. There was something so therapeutic about wandering through the fields, breathing in the lavender, slowing down, and simply being present.

Desi Renae invited me to take a lavender wreath making class with her and it turned out more whimsical than we could have imaged. It was so peaceful, and a perfect reminder to make space for small moments of joy.

If you are looking for a little escape near Athens, AL check out one of Lucas Ferry Flower Farm upcoming events to experience the magic of the their beautiful lavender farm!

Day 15 of the Minimalist Challenge ✔️

Today, I did not want to do this.

Some days the motivation just isn’t there, and the thought of finding 15 things to get rid of feels overwhelming. On those days, I’ve learned to lean into the easy wins.

I ask myself:
🗑️ Is there trash I can throw away right now?
💊 Do I have any expired medications?
🥗 Is there anything in my fridge that’s expired or gone bad?

It may not be the most exciting decluttering, but it still counts. Progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes the hardest part is simply showing up and doing something.

Day 15 is done, and that’s what matters. One day, one item, one small decision at a time.

How do you push through when you don’t feel motivated to declutter?

Here’s a caption in your voice:

Day 12 of the Minimalist Challenge ✔️

Today was hard, but I stuck to the plan.

Honestly, I had no idea where to start, so I decided to make it easy on myself. I grabbed a trash bag and started hunting for papers, receipts, and random things that were clearly ready to go. Before I knew it, the bag was full. Along the way, I also found a few items to add to my donation pile.

I’m learning that every day of this challenge isn’t going to feel easy or exciting, but showing up and following through anyway feels pretty rewarding. Some days the progress is obvious, and some days it’s just about building the habit.

One day at a time. One item at a time.

How is your decluttering journey going?
