That’s such a good reminder—especially when life gets busy. ❤️

Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.

Work will always be there. The emails, the chores, the deadlines… they’ll wait.

But the sunsets, the fishing trips, the laughs with the people you love, and the little moments you almost talked yourself out of? Those are the things you’ll remember.

My students all adore Dolly. 💕📚

They’ve grown up with Dolly as a regular part of their households—receiving books from her, reading her stories, and hearing about her love of children and reading.

And the sweetest part? They talk about Dolly in class like she’s family. 😂❤️ They’re all on a first-name basis with her: “Dolly said…” “Dolly sent me this book…” “I have that Dolly book at home!”

It absolutely melts my librarian heart. 🥹📖

I’m so thankful for the incredible gift Dolly has given generations of children—not just books, but a genuine love of reading and the excitement that comes with opening a book and discovering a whole new world.

Dolly, around here, you’re family. ❤️📚✨
