Season 2 of the Copy the Cut Challenge is going down in 2026.
This time, with 3 teams and 3 coaches—which means three barbers will win an all-expenses-paid trip to the CT Barber Expo.
The teams:
• representing the Dirty South
• representing the East Coast
• Team 3 representing the West Coast

New for Season 2: Auditions
We’re officially adding auditions this year.
Here’s how it works:
We’ll be posting the Copy the Cut Season 2 Auditions Announcement, where we’ll also reveal our third coach from the West Coast. Each coach will release a haircut that contestants must copy.
Contestants will:
• Copy their coach’s haircut
• Post it on Instagram using the provided caption
From there, each coach will select 5 barbers to join their team.
Competition Format
• We go live with Episode 1 on Zoom in February
• Contestants join the Zoom live, and we stream it live on Instagram
• We’ll then run 3 additional rounds, one each consecutive month
• That’s 4 total live rounds on Instagram
Each round, one team member is eliminated, until only one barber remains on each team.
The Finale
All 3 coaches and 3 finalists will be flown out to Connecticut to perform the final haircut in person at the world’s biggest barber expo, the CT Barber Expo.
