Blessings and stress can go hand in hand, but God calls us to worship Him through it all — and that’s exactly what I’m choosing to do today. 🙏

After my wheel hub caught fire twice and then my tire fell off when I finally arrived at the tire dealer, I woke up to a call that Brandon was in the hospital with kidney stones. 💔

Then Caden sent me a photo — he’s finally cleared to catch and pitch again after his overuse injury and break back in March. 🙌

And Dylan, who has only been able to go to school once since September 14 because of pain from breaking 2 bones, finally got out of bed and made it back to his hockey game tonight — the same rink where he was injured, but also the place he can’t wait to return to once he’s healed. 🏒

Through it all, we continue to praise and worship. We may never fully understand why the hard things happen, but we have truly felt the blessings, love, and support from each and every one of you — our family and friends. 💕

I’m choosing to focus on the good and feel deeply grateful. Even when it feels like the universe is throwing everything at you, there are still good people in this world who help you walk through those moments — and God is always there to bring peace and strength.

Blessings to each of you — I appreciate you all more than words can say. ❤️

🔥🚐 When your RV tire catches FIRE… not once, but TWICE 😳

I was headed from Florida back to Denver in my RV when people started honking and waving like crazy. I just figured they were annoyed that I was going too slow with the RV 🤷‍♀️

Then I glanced in my mirror… and saw actual flames shooting out from the middle of my tire 😭🔥

I pulled over as fast as I could, and within minutes, firefighters and police were there on the side of the highway. They got the fire out before it spread to the RV (thank God 🙏).

After putting it out, the firefighters followed me to the nearest tire shop — but at the stoplight right before we got there, the tire caught on fire again. They had to jump out and put it out all over again, right there in the intersection 😳🔥

Then, as I made the turn into the tire shop, the tire completely fell off at an angle, leaving me stuck in the middle of their lot blocking traffic. Good Sam’s covered my $600 tow (thank goodness!), and I found a driver super fast — one of those huge Landoll flatbed tow trucks that can haul a 35-foot trailer. (Stay tuned for videos!)

I had to back the RV around a corner and up onto the raised truck myself, but it went really smooth. Texas Trailers Sales & Service let me stay overnight on the grassy area right next to the shop — which was perfect, because I had nowhere else to go — and they cleared their whole day today to fix my RV.

RV life will test you, humble you, and push your limits… but it also shows you just how many incredible people are out there ready to help when you need it most ❤️

Blessed for every single person who helped me — the firefighters, the police, the tow driver, Mavis Tires & Brakes, and Texas Trailers. One of the officers even crawled underneath my trailer to re-hook my brakes using a photo my mobile tech in Denver (who I’m so grateful for always being there for me Rickey Wayne Bryan at Rocking B Mobile RV) texted me with a diagram. Everyone went above and beyond. 🙏

Made the upgrade from the bargain-bin surge protector to the top-of-the-line Hughes Autoformers Power Watchdog 🐾⚡️ and wow—what a difference!

When you’re traveling in an RV, your electrical system is everything. Cheap protectors might give you a little peace of mind, but the Power Watchdog actually shows you what’s happening with your power, protects your rig from serious damage, and even alerts you right on your phone if there’s a problem.

RV life is all about learning the hard way sometimes—but this was one lesson I’m glad I caught before it cost me big $$ in repairs.

Campground Tip: When you pull into a new campground, don’t just plug in and call it good. I always walk the site before I back in. Look for low branches, uneven spots in the ground, where is the most level part of the site, and check to make sure the electrical box is good by plugging in your surge protector before hooking it up to your RV! That 2-minute walk has saved me from so many headaches. Who else does a site check first and what do YOU check for?

Shortest hike in history y’all—less than five minutes! Keeping it real…the kids were hot and decided they’d seen all the petroglyphs within the first five minutes, so they were done. I love hiking and exploring new places, but sometimes you have to adjust when the crew isn’t feeling it. Amanda mentioned she didn’t have a hiking outfit on, and you can definitely tell by her face! 😂

Drop in the comments where you thought you had a great idea for a visit but had to cut it short because the kids weren’t having it!
