What is it in our lives that make humans know damn well what they need to start or stop doing to be in a better situation. We often literally seek out the things we know do us the most harm. I don't understand even myself for I am not the exception. Ci******es for instance may give us some kind of buzz or dizziness every once in a while, but we know facts like they cause cancer, smell terrible, are expensive AF yet i smoked ci******es for 10 years and ONLY stopped because I have Blood clots and ci******es literally would make my leg swell....

Somewhere in time we decided that grief, sadness, fear, envy, anger, and even the emotions that aren't as painful, love and excitement for example, are things we must not let the world see. Seriously though I know way too many traumatized humans' decades of baggage and unresolved pain in the form of demons clinging to their back just walking around feeding it like a pet. I been there I know how impossible it feels to imagine life any other way. I have spent excessive amounts of time researching holistic healing, practicing self-awareness, doing shadow work, and looking within to find ANYTHING that would ease the discomfort....

One of the hardest lessons I have learned lately is not everyone wants to heal. "There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything no matter how absurd to avoid facing their own soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light but by making the darkness conscious."
