kyuu.denver is not like other sushi! 🍣 They’re experimenting with flavors that mix traditional ingredients and take sushi to a new level! 😋

For the drink we got their fresh raspberry collins! Made beautifully and tastes great! 🍸 We started off with an order or their artichoke hearts paired with a macho aioli with the right amount of kick! 🦵🏻 From the raw bar we got the Hokkaido new style and the salmon new style! 🐟 The scallops were huge! And the salmon was extremely fresh! ☺️ We got their white lotus roll served with the macho sauce! The macho sauce is an interesting sauce pickly, spicy, and savory! 🤤 We also tried their eleven mile roll. This one was unique like all their other combinations! We ended with some nigiri, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and unagi! Can never go wrong and you can taste freshness! 😙

Thank KYUU for having us! The sushi was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

POV: you came for “just a little dessert” and somehow ended up wanting to try everything at Somisomi 😭🍦🐟

Finally made my way to Somisomi in Thornton and this was such a fun dessert stop! We tried the Banana Milk, Matcha, and the Matcha + Horchata swirl and honestly… I’m having a hard time picking a favorite. 🤭💚🍌

The Matcha was creamy with that perfect earthy matcha flavor, while the Banana Milk was sweet, smooth, and tasted like a nostalgic banana milk treat. 🍌🥛 And the Matcha + Horchata swirl was such a good combination! The earthy matcha mixed with the sweet, cinnamon-y horchata made for a flavor combo I definitely wasn’t expecting to love this much. 👀✨

Of course, you can’t go to Somisomi without getting their famous Ah-Boong 🐟. That crispy, warm fish-shaped waffle filled with your choice of filling and paired with soft serve. It’s basically the perfect combination of warm, crunchy, creamy, and sweet all in one bite. 🤤

And one of the things I love about Somisomi is that their flavors change often, so there’s always a reason to come back and see what they’re serving next! You might find a new flavor or a fun swirl combination you weren’t expecting.

Happy hour just got a whole lot happier 🌵🍹
I recently checked out the NEW happy hour at Blanco, and honestly… this is the kind of happy hour I could get behind. 😍

The vibe is lively, the food is seriously crave worthy, and there are SO many good options to choose from. We started with the Chicken Pastor and Chile Lime Shrimp Skewers, crispy quesadilla chips and tuna tostadas, and of course, had to try the tacos. 🌮🔥

But the drinks?! 🍹 The Muy Frío mini frozen cocktails were such a fun way to kick things off, and the margarita and paloma flights let us try a little bit of everything. The new sangrias were also a must!

And when you find out there’s $6 tacos, $5 beers, $20 small margarita pitchers AND 50% off wine… yeah, you’re probably going to want to stay awhile. 😂

Happy hour is available Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM and Saturday and Sunday from open to 2 PM.

If you’re looking for your next after work spot, weekend hang or excuse to grab a margarita with your friends, add Blanco to the list. 🌵✨

POV: You found your new sushi spot and now you’re already planning your next visit. 👀🍣✨

From the fresh flavors and creative combinations to the picture-perfect presentation, ASA Sushi really knows how to make a sushi night feel like an experience! 😋🥢

We started the night with the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna and WOW. 🐟🔥 The tuna was so fresh, while the crispy rice had that perfect golden crunch. Every bite had the best combination of texture, spice, and flavor!

For drinks, we went with the Lychee Margarita 🍸 and Lychee Lemonade 🍋🍹. If you’re a lychee lover like me, you already know these were a hit! There’s just something about that sweet, refreshing lychee flavor paired with a cocktail. 😍

Now let’s talk about the rolls… 👀

The ASA Roll is definitely a MUST-GET! 🦞✨ The tempura lobster paired with their garlic sake butter was such a unique combination. The sauce added so much depth and flavor without overpowering the lobster — definitely one of those bites that makes you immediately want another one!

And if you like a little heat 🌶️, the UB Roll is calling your name. The lobster with the garlic spicy butter brings just the right amount of kick while still letting all the flavors shine. 🤌🏼🔥

Everything we tried was flavorful, beautifully presented, and honestly just fun to eat! Whether you’re looking for a sushi date-night spot, dinner with friends, or just need to satisfy that sushi craving, Asa Sushi is definitely one to add to your list. 🍣💯
