Get yourselves a sister who donates cupcakes to your fundraisers! Butter and Bloom does beautiful work with cupcakes and cakes that are as gorgeous as they are tasty. Last year, these red velvet cupcakes were a belle of the ball. Stop by their page for some eye candy.

As we count down to our fundraiser event, we want to take some time to recognize our event sponsors who are helping turn dreams into realities. Next up we have the home of our monthly poetry workshop Hooked on Colfax !

Hooked on Colfax shows up for their community. They host open mics, regularly do vendor fairs, the work of local artists line their walls, they’ve hosted Spanish language meetups and so much more. We are lucky to have them in Denver, and we’re thankful to have them as a two-time sponsor of our fundraiser.

As we count down to our fundraiser event, we want to take some time to recognize our event sponsors who are helping turn dreams into realities. Next up we have our home away from home for almost a decade Mutiny Comics & Coffee

Mutiny has hosted us for our events since the beginning, and they feel more like family at this point; a sentiment I know we are not alone in feeling. I can’t imagine the number of artists, activists, comic book artists, comedians, poets and musicians that Mutiny has served as a launchpad to over the years, not to mention being a sober alternative in these industries that often revolve around alcohol. Jim Norris and Matt Mega C, we love you! Thank you for the support!

As we count down to our fundraiser event, we want to take some time to recognize our event sponsors who are helping turn dreams into realities. Next up we have History Colorado who elevate so much of this state’s important history, not shying away from hard truths of the past and the present.

This is the venue where I (Brice) saw both Joy Harjo and Natalie Díaz speak. I appreciate the care and intention they put into their exhibit on the Sand Creek Massacre. I also had a blast there at Oregon Trail IRL! I got bit by a rattlesnake. Grateful to have them sponsoring our big party!

Denver Tool Library is such a glorious example of what can happen with an outside of the box community-centric mindset. They offer their members access to such a huge assortment of tools that maybe you’ll need a few times but that if you purchased them yourself would mostly collect dust. Great example of how we win when we all pitch in a little. Follow them to learn more about their library and their excellent workshops as well!

Tractor Beverage Co is inspiring in their dedication to sustainable practices in how their produce their beverages.
