John 14:15-31; A Comforter will come
Jesus promises the Holy Spirit
Comforter= Holy Spirit= Christ title’s (one of many)
To sum up this passage, this is telling us that Jesus is the Comforter that will come, even though you don’t see Him, He will abide in you. Jesus also mentions keeping His commandments and He will leave peace and overall His presence will be here when you love and acknowledge His Father.
Jesus was also questioned on how He will manifest Himself to us, He replied
V.23 “if a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.
*More ways to know Jesus is God= v.23 “we will come, our abode”
*Greek- paraclete= helper
Parakletos- one called alongside to help
He is going to give us a Comforter that will abide with us forever and to make this happen (the manifestation) by loving Jesus and keeping His words. God will love you and they will come to you and live with you (make a home)
