Cutting the headlight aperture on a Porsche GT3RS wrap is where the install is won or lost. One millimeter off on that circular cut and the entire front end tells on the installer every time someone walks past the car.

The heat gun work to get the film sitting perfectly flush around that opening before the cut is the part most people never see.

This is the detail work that separates a shop that wraps cars from a shop that masters them.

Dirt under PPF is the install killer nobody talks about until it is too late. One particle trapped under the film creates a bubble that grows over time and the only fix is pulling the entire section and starting over. The prep work before the film ever touches the paint is where the install is won or lost.

Wrapping around the mirror without removing it saves time but it doubles the risk of contamination at every edge. The installers who get this right every time are the ones who treat the prep like it is the most important part of the job.
