ring and book design, creating unique and visually stunning pop-up titles that appeal to collectors, art enthusiasts, and book lovers alike. Each Poposition Press release is an art collectible – each book always has a special edition with bespoke packaging including slipcases, custom boxes, and more. Rosston Meyer started Poposition after self publishing the first edition of Pop Up Funk in 2013 with Jim Mahfood. Since then, Poposition has published over fifty books, prints and cards with artists like Skinner, Junko Mizuno, Mike Giant as well as pop up collections with the foundations of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. In addition to collaborating with artists, Poposition works with other paper engineers (The Complexities of Pop Up, Dimensional Cannabis, The Keith Haring Pop Up Book) as well, truly making Poposition a group effort when it comes to the artwork and engineering involved with creating and designing pop up books. Poposition Press occupies a unique niche in the world of pop-up book publishing, combining artistic collaboration, innovative design, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of paper engineering. For over a decade, our limited edition pop-ups continue to captivate audiences and inspire awe with their beauty and craftsmanship.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Poposition Press this year - collectors, artists, paper engineers, friends - none of this would be possible without your help. This year brought the release of Peter Dahmen's Pop Up Sculptures book, the first ever Poposition reprints (for Keith Haring and Pull Me Apart) and more books in museum shops around the world.

There is a lot in the works to look forward to in 2026 including multiple book releases (Pull Me Part 2, S**g, etc.), some new pop up posters, English editions of some amazing French books and more.

Seen here is one of the paper doll characters that will be included with the special edition of the forthcoming Edward Gorey Signals pop up book.

I say it often but - once again- thank you for supporting independent publishing (or any other creative endevaours that you are into) as people like me could not do what we do without you. 🙏🏼

Excited to announce that Poposition Press will be publishing an English edition of Marion Bataille's amazing JIM book next year!

In JIM, nine exercises come to life in your hands with vibrant pop-ups printed in Pantone colors. This little book will delight people of all ages, workout enthusiasts and those who prefer to watch others exercise.
