In case you missed the reel of my YouTube video, here’s the quick overview. I’m trying to simplify life so I can travel more next year and get back in to photography. A big part of that is selling the Tundra to get rid of a car payment and debts. Once I sell it, I’ll be driving the Sequoia in winter. The Sequoia will eventually be Phoenix’s. He drives in a year and a half and I know the Sequoia has plenty of miles with the work I’ve done on it. Finally got it street legal again after rebuilding from salvage, and finished the big brake upgrade on it last night. The Land Cruiser will be built to be my daily driver. Since I have the Sequoia, that’ll let me tear down the Land Cruiser as I need to, to restore it.

Out with the new. In with the old.

My dad talked me in to finally getting the Tundras bed patched up from all the rust. He knows me too well, knowing that it’s usually the “just getting started” part that I struggle with. Once I start, the ADHD hyperfocus takes over. Hopefully tomorrow we will make some good progress. Tonight I figured I’d start cutting, and ended up getting about half of it cut out.

Realized I haven’t posted the Tundra in a little bit. I’m loving how it’s been coming together!

Phoenix and I had an amazing time at the Weird Al concert. For a guy who’s 65, he put on an amazing show. It was Phoenix’s first time at any concert, and my first time at Red Rocks. It’s crazy how I’d listen to Weird Al since elementary school, and now Phoenix, who just finished middle school also listens to him.
