A new boutique condominium project is nearing completion in Denver’s Lower Highlands, adding for-sale inventory in one of the city’s most supply-constrained neighborhoods.

Kensing LoHi is a 35-unit residential development located at 1643 Boulder Street, offering a mix of modern floor plans with pricing ranging from 485K to over $2M. The project also includes ground-floor commercial space, structured parking, and is targeting LEED and WELL certifications.

With approximately 20 residences remaining, the project reflects continued demand for new construction ownership opportunities in walkable, urban neighborhoods like LoHi, where available inventory remains limited.

A Grand Opening event is scheduled for June 11 from 3–6 PM.

Here’s a closer look at some of the long-term expansion concepts and infrastructure studies tied to DIA’s Vision 100 and Operation 2045 plans.

These images come from various airport planning presentations and conceptual studies released since 2022 as DEN began exploring how the airport could continue expanding over the coming decades.

The concepts shown include potential concourse expansions, terminal connectivity ideas, future transit systems, roadway modifications, expanded passenger infrastructure, rental car consolidation concepts, and additional airfield planning scenarios designed to support more than 120 million annual passengers in the future.

It’s important to note that these are long-term conceptual studies and not finalized construction plans. Many of the layouts, designs, and infrastructure concepts could still change significantly over time as projects move through future planning, funding, environmental review, and approval processes.

Still, the scale of what DIA is studying gives a pretty interesting look at how the airport may continue evolving over the next several decades.

Which concept or rendering stands out to you the most?

05/06/2026

Have you seen the long-term expansion plans proposed for DIA?

Most travelers only see the construction currently happening inside Denver International Airport’s Great Hall, but the airport’s long-term plans stretch far beyond the terminal renovation underway today.

As part of Vision 100 and Operation 2045, DIA is planning for more than 120 million annual passengers over the coming decades. To support that growth, airport planning documents outline a wide range of future infrastructure concepts across the property, including expanded concourses, additional aircraft gates, future terminal expansions, and potential future runway development.

The renderings and concepts shown in this video were released through airport planning studies and presentations beginning around 2022 and 2023. Because many of these projects remain in long-term planning phases, portions of the layouts, designs, timelines, and infrastructure concepts could change significantly over time as they move through future funding, environmental review, and approval processes.

At the same time, DIA continues moving forward with the multi-phase Great Hall renovation project, which is currently under construction and expected to continue through 2027.

Together, Vision 100 and Operation 2045 are expected to drive more than $15 billion in long-term airport infrastructure investment over the coming decades.

Construction is continuing at Brookfield Residential’s Contour Townhomes development in Central Park, with a new phase now underway near 47th & Beeler.

The project introduces a series of three-level townhomes, ranging from approximately 1,600 to 1,800 square feet, organized in a cluster-based layout with shared open space and internal walkways. The approach reflects how remaining parcels in the Northfield and Central Park areas are transitioning toward more compact, higher-density residential formats as buildout continues.

Model homes are now open for tours as construction progresses, with units expected to be delivered in phases. We’ll be taking a closer look at one of the available floor plans in the next post.

A 17-unit townhome development is being proposed at 4862 W 13th Ave in Denver.

The project would bring three separate buildings to the site, each rising three stories and designed with attached garages and a shared internal drive aisle.

Plans also include two accessible units with elevator access, while the project would meet affordable housing requirements through a fee-in-lieu.

As this moves through the concept review stage, details could continue to evolve.
