"Pushing intensity to the edge, this latest three track outing delivers Shigero's raw, menacing sound design, landing perfectly on the Abysmal Entities catalogue, a true home for the darker corners of bass music. We begin this journey with the pounding drum stutters and breathy stutters of 'Oxychosis', a moody skip through eerie melodic themes and unusual harmonic ideals, with the almost post-techno designs of 'Unstable' then delivering another subby gutpunch. Finally, 'Appetite' takes control with a slumpfest of dizzying bass grinds and industrial drum work, closing off this set in real style."
