Carroll became the first player in Arizona Diamondbacks history to win the Jackie Robinson ROY Award while Henderson is the eighth in Baltimore Orioles history. Corbin Carroll, to the surprise of the absolutely no one, was announced on Monday as the National League Rookie of the Year Award winner following a historic season. He earned all 30 of the first-place votes to become the first Arizona Diamondbacks rookie to be given the honor.

The Colorado Rockies and GM Bill Schmidt enter the offseason after the first 100-loss campaign in the 30-year history of the club.

The Rockies would love to join the likes of the Orioles, Rangers and Diamondbacks, three clubs who reached the playoffs in 2023 just two years after 100 losses.

In order for Colorado to do that, Schmidt will need to work wonders this offseason in terms of improving the big league roster and bridge the gap for October baseball in 2025.

Brenton Doyle may not have made his Major League debut until nearly a month into the 2023 season, but his impact in the outfield was enough to earn him the National League Gold Glove Award for center field on Sunday.
