My friend, Josephina, was once a child alone on the streets. Then she was incarcerated. That's where I met her. In one of ChannelMom's Forever Moms classes. Now she's free and working on things like staying sober and reuniting with her 2 boys. I mentor her (but sometimes she mentors me more). She went to church with me yesterday and was met with lots of love. I am humbled that God lets me be a part of lives like Josephina's.

Goodbye to ChannelMom Radio. This is hard, but it feels like God has asked me to lay down our radio show...to focus more on moms face-to-face. So this was our last radio show (last guest was The Minimal Mom). ChannelMom Podcast is also on hiatus, as we try to figure out how we can BEST help moms who need to be lifted up. Jessica Porter Denver7 tells how 1 incarcerated mom changed for her sons. STOP the legacy of incarceration (and crime) from being passed down from parent to child. Please share this, you guys!

A unique program is working inside the Denver Women’s Correctional Facility to prevent recidivism through faith and parenting.
