As of 1 PM storms are beginning to roll off the Front Range foothills into the urban and I 25 corridor! The storms already may be capable of producing small hail. I do expect the storms to reach the Denver Metro area and I 25 corridor between 2 and 3 PM. Keep this in mind if you are outside or have any outdoor activities planned during the next couple hours!

Today, we have a Marginal Risk set up across eastern Colorado for hail up to 1-1.5”, wind gusts up to 60mph and maybe a localized isolated tornado or landspout.

I got expected to develop after 1 PM and make their way into the urban at I25 corridor between 2 and 3 PM

Storm intensity should not be as bad as yesterday, hail is still possible today! So I do recommend keeping those cars close to a garage or carport if available here in the Denver metro.

My highest confidence for seeing a stronger or severe storm is any location you see a 3/10 rating on my BITE Index. Mainly over the Denver metro, between Trinidad and Springfield in SE Colorado, as well as up near Sterling in NE Colorado!!
Stay tuned for updates as I continue to track severe weather throughout the day!

As of 11pm we already have some towering cumulonimbus just west of the northern northern metro! Dew points are pretty impressive as well! We could see a short, intensive storm in the early afternoon! Still not expecting 2” hail like yesterday but small to low end severe sized hail still may be possible!

Colorado’s Daily Weather Dog Forecast for Tuesday, June 2nd ⛈️⛈️

06/02/2026

Good morning everyone! We still have another hail threat today in the Denver metro area! It’s mostly Marginalized BUT still there! I do see a storm here in the city between 2 and 3pm! It’s likely not going to be as intense as yesterday’s storm but it may be wise to leave those cars under coverage today if possible!
Stay tuned for my daily forecast and BITE Index Update later this morning!
