Last night was the premiere of the GRiZ Rainbow Brain live album experience! This was the collective effort of some of the most talented production teams in Colorado. 5 days of production, each blowing well past 12 hours long, at the Mission Ballroom to record 23 live songs, with 5 incredible artists -- Cherub, Big Gigantic, ProbCause, Chrishira, and of course the mastermind behind this all, GRiZ.

Today at the BMH office, life was back to our normal: organized chaos. The creative energy was flowing as we had two different companies rent out the studio space. The first being Funhous Creative. With the music bumping (check out the office playlist and let us know your favorites), the camera flashed. Taking a break from her spring-cleaning duties, Intern Parker modeled clothes for her friend and Funhous founder Jasmine. Intern Cera also shot some BTS photos of the shoots -- check our IG (always plug). The theme was high fashion, which for those who don’t know means lots of black and lots of neutrals: shades, shoes, pants, shirts, and even nails. Death to color!

Interns Cera and Nick picked up Parker’s slack and finished tidying up the studio space for some product photos and were tasked with finding more companies to work with (Hit my line). Jeremy spent the day teaching us about how this company actually runs and taxes. Turns out there is more to this business than taking Instagram photos. Jeremy has also decided it is time to push his baby birds out of the nest to see if they can fly -- and by fly, we mean shoot product photos, so if you are interested, dm us on IG.

Hudson, friend of BMH, rented out the studio to shoot some photos and video for Recoup, a workout recovery brand. The interns got some secondhand learning as they watched how the professionals do it. Plus, it is always nice to have another CU grad in the house.

Stevie the Shepherd is slowly warming up to the interns, but her good judgment has kept her wary of men. Intern Nick is not worried about the relationship and is confident of melting the ice. In other dog news (our favorite news), Ben has recently adopted a Great Dane pup. When asked about the size of the dog, he responded, “I like my dogs how I like my projects: big.”

One of the craziest projects we’ve pulled off this year: a last minute decision to do a live stream in our new and spooky Boulder Media House warehouse - from a spontaneous group message to a show sponsored by AEG Presents Rocky Mountains in 5 days with no budget, just a whole lotta volunteered time and sweat. It’s insane what you can do when you pull a team of the right people together. Dang we missed that post-show tinnitus!

June Threads: stylish, trendy, and affordable street-ware is so excited to announce that they are reopening their brand and website for Fall 2020. The new era took designer Bree Cevaal’s blood, sweat, and tears, so we created this promotional video to showcase her efforts. With so many new pieces to sell, Bree deserved an eye-catching fashion-forward video demonstrating different ways to wear each piece. We’ve worked with Bree, creator of June Threads, since her first line, so we knew we had to help her show off her new line in our best media-production and visual effects fashion. BMH Director Riley Clinton won an Emmy for his film, “Just the Beginning: One Final Season with Tim Howard” directed by Riley Clinton. Ben Gillespie also worked on the film as the colorist so he got a few shots with her as well! Go Boulder Media House!
