I've developed many talents over the years and I offer a wide array of media services. But I'd say that there are roughly two sides to my heart: I’m a cinematographer and a photographer! I started filmmaking at the University of Virginia using a Bolex camera from the 1950s and recording on reels of two and a half minute film. Starting with the analog medium allowed me to develop a fundamental understanding for the principles of lighting, photography, and the mechanics of digital cameras. Over the years, I developed a number of skills in multimedia production and now, in addition to videography, I offer post production including editing & effects, motion titles, and color correction. I also offer web & graphic design and social media management. Contact me for a sample of my graphic work! JAM CRUISE 21!!! WOW, what an intense and amazing 5 days. This year I came in what I thought was totally prepared and ready to direct Jam Cruise TV. lol. 😂 after 5 extremely long and brutal days, I can proudly say JCTV was a huge success. My blood, sweat and yea tears made it possible. There are too many people to thank that helped me but here are some snap shots from the trip. Thank you to and for the opportunity. Highlights included having 7 cameras for main stage, two electronic zoom lenses, and a 400mm zoom. Our coverage was the best it’s ever been. Jeremy crushed directing, even his son has a knack for it. I loved the brief party moment celebrating Joel & Abbie’s JC wedding, scooters in Cozumel, getting to see/direct/film , , , Midlife, , and the success after troubleshooting technical problems for 3 days. It wasn’t easy but it feels good knowing I gave it my all and was triumphant. I would do it again and hopefully next year we’re back even better!
