Appropriately, my former landlord shared this piece of art with me - check out the stories at the end! They're incredible and I can't get enough of the mini-videos of people walking out their front door.

Friends! Feeling a little creative and want something out of the norm for Labor Day? An old friend just told me about an event she's running up in Boulder: http://pebblerocksboulder.com/

Here's the lowdown: Digital agency Viget and Kickstarter legends Pebble are joining forces to present the Pebble Rocks Boulder Hackathon – a 48-hour event at the Galvanize campus where makers, designers, entrepreneurs, and engineers will get their hands dirty and build something awesome over Labor Day weekend (9/4 - 9/6). Registered participants will receive one complimentary Pebble Time smartwatch (to keep!) and have access to LulzBot 3D printers. Pebble engineers will also be on site to offer guidance and support. The event will conclude with a demo night Sunday 9/6, during which teams will present their projects to the general public and a panel of judges for the chance to win a variety of prizes.

Pebble is crashing Boulder for a 48-hour hackathon above Pearl Street Mall! Visit PebbleRocksBoulder.com to learn all about it!

So proud of our friends at Thread for raising 3.5 million in funding! Their founder, Ian, was featured on a podcast way back and it's such a pleasure to keep up with their success.

PS they're hiring if you're itching for a new gig with good people.
