The world truly lost one of the greatest players to ever walk the field, as well as one of the greatest ambassadors to ever represent the sport. You truly set a standard on what it means to exhume light and love into the world. We love you Tim Montressor, and you will never be forgotten.

A few sentences in a social media post could never hope to pay homage to a life lived so large.

Today we mourn a friend, a teammate, and a consummate professional.

Tim Montressor passed away this morning, a loss that will be felt by every member of the paintball community and the thousands of people Tim called friends around the world.

You will be missed.

This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write, but for the first time in 6 years Spantastik will not be filming World Cup. I'm taking time away from paintball to focus on my new full time job with The Plug Supply in the CBD h**p industry. Like everyone who walks away from the sport it will only be a hiatus and i will come back eventually. I'm hoping to start playing again in 2019 and focus on bringing CBD products into the sport to help the players live a higher quality of life and recover from the toll that playing puts on the body. Id like to thank everyone who has ever worked under me, hired me, or supported me whether it was purchasing clothing or just sharing the videos. I started as a clueless 21 year old with no experience in film or editing, no formal schooling, a Sony handycam inside a dos xx box, and a go pro 1. Almost 6 years, 8 leagues, 2 scenario series, 10's of thousands of shots to the body, and a lot of trial by fire later, the opportunities presented through the sport have taught me skills that have turned into a career, made friends that ill have till the day i die, and made connections that have led to meeting people & doing things i never dreamed id ever do. I owe everything in my life to this sport, i love it and every person i met through it along the way. The final 4 productions will be released throughout November to PbNation.com, but since i have almost all the footage i ever shot dating back to 2013 still on HD's i will be releasing throwback & .footage at least once or twice a week. Again, i just want to say thank you to you the Spantastik nation. Never did i dream it would grow to what it has having 15,000+ people from literally all over the world who watches our videos is truly humbling. I love you all, and i cant wait to see what the future holds.

The Punishers fought through the mud, muck and rain for a solid 3rd place finish at the MSXL Ohio Open 2018. Thankfully they hired Spantastik to document every second of their epic quest for the podium! From diving into mud puddles to running down the competition over and over, the Punishers showed out all day and did not disappoint.
