Philos Records

Philos Records Electronic, hip hop, and beat music. The St. Sample-based music is different in that written lyrics aren't present to lay it all out straight for us.

Founded by Jordan Wengler in 2013, Philos Records was created as an outlet for artists to exhibit the convergence of electronic and traditional music. Louis-based record label has served as a home base for artists from all over North America, Canada, and France, and has released hundreds of creative works to a global audience. Our collective approach and forward-thinking commitment to furthering up-and-coming artists’ careers has allowed Philos to publish some of the premier music in the electronic, beat music scene.

'What's especially worth mentioning about this label is that each Philos artist contributes a unique effort in crafting a message. Rather, instrumental and sampling work provide the entrance into an interpretive, often introspective, musical journey. Get ready for a brilliant set of tunes.'
