🎥 Big news for the future of American filmmaking!

A new bipartisan bill was introduced in Congress today that would create the first-ever U.S. Federal tax incentive for the film & TV industry — up to 30% on labor costs, stacking on top of state credits. If passed, it could make the U.S. the most competitive place to shoot in the entire world.

Joe Chianese, SVP of Incentives at Entertainment Partners, shared his take with Variety: if the bill passes and incentives stack cleanly, he says, shooting stateside becomes an unbeatable proposition — "nothing overseas comes close."

This is the culmination of a two-year push from Hollywood unions and the Motion Picture Association, responding to a production downturn that has cost thousands of American jobs.
