Hector Moralez is a prominent figure in House Music, hailing from Oakland, California. Widely regarded as one of the genre’s elite DJs, he has built his reputation through dedication, consistency, and a deep passion for the craft.
He began his journey at just 17 years old, working at the renowned Primal Records, where he developed his signature sound of House with Latin, jazz, funk, hip hop, and soul influences. Beyond DJing, Moralez has made a strong impact in production, forming projects such as Nickelz & Dimes, Block Committee, Fries & Bridges with current collaborations with Denver’s own Subrosa.
His releases have appeared on respected House Music labels worldwide. In addition to his work with established labels, Hector also manages and produces on his own imprint Minority Music.
