This was my first Spartan race and I had a blast! I had done a few tough mudders before, but this was a bit more challenging. It was awesome to see so many people coming out and pushing themselves. Everyone was so supportive and full of encouragement. Good times! Rocking my tachuntfish shorts🤘and bare skin. obstacles

These restrictions are coming from SB25-003 that passed last year. They did publish a list as of what is restricted if you want to find more details on that. Just another reminder for everyone.

There are pros and cons to a hard rigid belt vs. a soft flexible belt when it comes to concealed carrying. Comfort is important but so is function. It really just comes down to preference, and what you are actually carrying. The stuff belt is from Kore essentials and the sold belt is from EDC belt Co. The holster featured is a KSG armory Lexington.

A recent event highlights an example of how you shouldn’t act when carrying. Dudes going to have a hard time defending his ridiculous actions in court. The law of self defense by Andrew Branca is a must read for the armed citizen. So actually go read it, and don’t just rely on the very short cliff notes I gave in this video.

Colorado SB26-043 thankfully did not pass. A win is a win, but unfortunately we still have to deal with SB25-003 which passed last year and will go into effect on August 1st. Get what you want before then and it will be grandfathered in.

As you can see these potential changes are coming from the FY27 budget bill, not the ATF. They are essentially restricting the ATF from using their funds to pursue all these particular things. The proposed rules are separate from this. This is an important distinction when it comes to accuracy in reporting on it, but also with the timeline of implementation of proposed rules vs. a Federal budget bill. Date posted: 5-4-2026
