I'm sure by now you've all heard about this Big-Name Sales Guru, Andy Elliott, and his sales training company, The Elliot Group. What you might not know is that they partner with small businesses and young entrepreneurs for TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PER MONTH. And despite the big, elaborate sales pitches and the cult-like mentality associated with Andy, big agencies like his are consistently dropping the ball for business owners that pay him enormous sums just for a chance to be successful.
But I'm not just picking on The Elliot Group; almost every big, popular agency is the same.
Partnering with a big-name agency can feel like a golden ticket. Bold promises, slick presentations, and recognizable names make it seem like you’re about to unlock rapid growth. But as many small businesses have discovered, reality often looks very different.
In a YouTube video, Ethan Sacowski of Shiftly Auto shared his experience with Andy Elliott's group. At first, it seemed like the perfect partnership. But Ethan quickly realized things weren’t what they seemed:
“Some of them legit did not want to do business with us because of Andy Elliot.”
"We were supposed to get four story post from Andy Elliot which only really got two that month. And the reason for this was that the coaches and Andy were too busy to remember to actually deliver on what they had said they would."
“We just committed to a three-year contract and they’re already not delivering on everything that they said they would.”
“All he cares about is the incentive that he wants to win this month.”
Instead of the personalized support Shiftly Auto needed, Ethan found himself tied to a contract with a team that was more focused on their own incentives than his business.
This isn’t an isolated story. It’s a pattern. Large agencies, spread across hundreds of clients, often leave smaller businesses stranded. When you’re not the biggest account, it’s easy to get overlooked.
But there’s a better path. Smaller creative agencies like C4 Productions are built differently. With over a decade of experience in content creation and story-driven marketing, we focus on personal attention, adaptability, and results. We don’t lock clients into rigid contracts or let them slip through the cracks. Instead, we build trust through accountability and proven outcomes.
The takeaway? You don’t need to get burned before realizing there’s a smarter way. Choose partners who treat your brand like it matters, because it does.
C4 Productions helps brands stand out with tailored storytelling and content strategies that work. Contact us today to learn how we can help your business shine.
