TWO THINGS:

I have stopped making because I can never automatically sync my audio to the video (does that happen to anyone else?) and I find that HIGHLY annoying 😡

B). I will ALWAYS take low exposure pics & vids if it suits the manicure 😍

Oh, September… 🍂☕️🧣🍃💛

Early mornings now have a slight chill in the air, while the sun still warms up our afternoons.

I, for one, am excited to start bringing out the deeper hues for a nice Fall palette- jewel tones 🔮, toasty browns 🧸, and warm neutrals 🍯.

We played with a few of those colors here in this set I did a couple weeks ago ✨

Ooh, la la!

How divine is this half-moon manicure? 🌙♥️

Half-moon manicures first started making an appearance on in the late 1920s- by the 30s and 40s they became a fashion staple! Everyone from movie stars to homemakers were sporting this unique nail design.

Two different variations were popular- the one I did on my client (which can also be seen on Miss Dita Von Teese 💋) and the style in which the tip of the nail was also left natural.

The second-to-last slide shows how to paint your nails, based on their shape & size, so your fingers appear more “elegant”:

•If nails are oval, paint so the white tip echos shape and size of moon
• If they are round, paint entire nail except a narrow strip on each side
• If they are square, leave a large moon and a free edge with delicate curve
• If they are spatulate, round the tip and keep color towards the center

Half-moon nail polish on TOES was also popular!
